We acknowledge, with gratitude, the place our family and many of the families we advise call home is within the unceded traditional territory of the K'ómoks, Ei'ksan and Pentlatch people.

As parents and grandparents, we care about the type of legacy we leave for our own family. We strive to give back to our community by supporting children and families that don't have the resources that our family has experienced.
Twenty years ago, Rick helped launch the Learn to Ski Program with the Strathcona Nordics Ski Club and Mount Washington Alpine Ski Resort, donating funding and time to the program. This program teaches hundreds of children the basics of Cross Country Skiing each year which supports their health and well-being. Our team is very proud that this program has since seen participation by children of alumni who initially participated two decades ago.
In 2022, the program was renamed the “Rick Morson Nordic Ski School“ in Rick’s honour and he has been recognized as the Founding Donor of the program in this article in the Comox Valley Record.

ArtWrx Studio Gallery, is a community of talented local artists. We proudly sponsored the ArtWrx Square Foot Show for the 5th time in November 2022. This inspiring art show promotes local and national artists as well as making original art accessible to many.

Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce works closely with its members to strengthen and support local business, and to foster growth, community, and best practices. Susan continues to serve as a Board Member and adds value by sharing her experience of serving business owners and entrepreneurs across Canada over the past 25+ years.

Comox Valley Transition Society supports women and children in transition. Our continued sponsorship of their 3 annual fundraising initiatives helps them raise awareness and donations.

Vancouver Island Mountain Sports Society (VIMSS) is a non-profit organization that enables programs and services that enhance access to Vancouver Island’s alpine environment. It, like the Morson Carson Wealth Counsel, are keen advocates of an active outdoor lifestyle and much of the volunteer work we do with the society is to help to make such a lifestyle as affordable as possible to all.
And with our Responsible Investment Advisor Certification (RIAC), we also take pride in guiding and educating our clients surrounding investment choices that will help make our community and the world a better place. We are proud that Richardson Wealth matched our recent donation to the Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal dollar for dollar in 2022.
