Portfolio Manager, Investment Advisor, Wealth Advisor

As a Wealth Advisor, I pride myself on my people-centric approach. You’re not a number to me, you’re a person. The relationships I’ve built over the past 25 years in the wealth management industry are what drive me.

Relationship-building and entrepreneurship are in my DNA. My dad started and ran a newspaper, The Whitby Review, and my grandparents owned Bentley’s Foodmart in Stirling, Ontario in the 1950s. I think that’s what sparked my interest in understanding commerce and how money works. I got my first paper route at nine years old and loved getting to know my customers. I also loved reconciling the money, remitting it properly and going to the bank and getting my bank book updated and seeing it grow, a fascination that grew as I took on more jobs in my teenage years.

After graduating from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, I decided I wanted to pursue a career in wealth management. I received my Chartered Strategic Wealth Professional (CSWP) and Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designations. It’s allowed me to impact people's lives in a meaningful way by simplifying the complex and finding solutions to make their lives better. And that’s why our motto at Pritchard Wealth Management Group is People before portfolios. Our clients matter most to us.

Associate Investment Advisor

As an Associate Investment Advisor, I focus on financial planning, portfolio management, performance reporting and relationship management but at its core, our approach at Pritchard Wealth Management Group is rooted in People before portfolios. That’s what has inspired me over the past ten years in the industry: putting the processes and plans in place so the client can be in the moment for life’s experiences. I enjoy the challenge of helping clients solve complex wealth planning issues.

I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University

Beyond the office, I’m passionate about golf and belong to St Georges Golf and Country Club in Etobicoke. I inherited my passion for golf from my grandfather. When he passed away in 2014, we spread some ashes on the greens where he’d gotten his only hole-in-one ever at the course. A few years later, I hit a perfect 4-iron from 205 yards and got my first hole-in-one at the exact same hole.

As the team at Pritchard Wealth Management Group can attest, I pride myself on accuracy and efficiency — creating a flow between the needs of the team and the needs of clients. It’s innate for me. I have 23 years of experience in the industry, but more than that, I’m a planner at heart.

My greatest passion is travel, I’m drawn to the energy of carefully planning a trip so I can experience new cultures, food and climates unhindered. I love meeting new people from around the world and finding that balance between being lost in the chaos of new places and knowing where I need to be. I have been to Asia, Central America, Europe and Mexico several times and will be going to Argentina this year. My favourite country so far in my travels was Sri Lanka.

There are so many parallels to what I do with The Pritchard Wealth Management Group — enabling the team to support clients in times of volatility while also being beside them as they move through life’s milestones. That’s what I love most about this job: the energy of collaborating towards a common goal. It’s like plotting out other people’s adventures.
