Muizz Saleh B. Eng, CFP®, RRC®
Associate Investment Advisor

Muizz is one of those rare people that combines emotional and analytical intelligence. He’s able to take complex ideas and turn them into planning decisions that make sense on a deeply personal level. It’s a skill set that has served him well in his financial services career and earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Born in Singapore and raised in Malaysia, Muizz moved to Canada to study Engineering at McGill University. Muizz spent a few years in the field, and while he was drawn to creative problem-solving, engineering didn’t afford the ability to see the effects of his actions in the same way working with people and wealth did. Financial planning made sense, and 12 years on, his interest in the industry continues to grow. Over the years he’s been able to draw from his experience as both an immigrant and an engineer, bringing a unique lived experience and perspective to every interaction.

In 2021, Muizz made the decision to leave his role at a large financial services firm and join his long-term mentor and colleague Marc Istanboulie at Richardson Wealth. Through this partnership with Marc, clients will have increased accessibility to personalized wealth management strategies. The vast array of expertise within the Firm will help clients address many of their tax, estate, insurance, philanthropic and business succession needs.

In addition to a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, Muizz has his Registered Retirement Consultant designation (RRC) and Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP®). He was ranked third nationally for his CFP exam sitting, earning a coveted spot on the President’s List.

He devotes a lot of his time outside of the office to volunteering, offering his skillset surrounding finances and education to help support groups like the Aga Khan Council for Canada. Muizz also enjoys travelling throughout Canada and abroad with his wife and their five-year-old son.
