Marc Istanboulie B.Sc., F.Pl, CIM®
Portfolio Manager, Investment Advisor

As an advisor, Marc’s expertise lies in connecting with and truly understanding every client and their needs. He has spent the past two decades building a reputation as a trusted advisor for wealthy families and healthcare professionals as they move through their careers and different stages of life. The long-term relationships he has developed over his career reflect the personalized and dedicated service he consistently provides to his clients.

After receiving a degree in science from Université de Montréal and a degree in financial planning from Université Laval, Marc started as a financial planner with a large financial services firm in 2001. He fine-tuned his practice to focus on healthcare professionals, guiding them with advice on wealth accumulation, wealth preservation, risk management, insurance, and cash flow management. Drawn to Richardson Wealth’s approach to serving their clients with a wide array of investment choices, Marc brought his practice to the firm in 2016, expanding on his offering and leveraging the firm’s in-house resources.

In addition to his degrees from Université de Montréal and Université Laval, Marc also holds a Certificate in Advanced Investment Advice, the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and is Financial Planner (F. Pl).

Marc is an outdoor enthusiast. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, downhill skiing and scuba diving. He also enjoys traveling and fine dining.

Muizz Saleh B. Eng, CFP®, RRC®, CR®
Associate Investment Advisor

Muizz is one of those rare people that combines emotional and analytical intelligence. He’s able to take complex ideas and turn them into planning decisions that make sense on a deeply personal level. It’s a skill set that has served him well in his financial services career and earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Born in Singapore and raised in Malaysia, Muizz moved to Canada. In 2021, Muizz made the decision to leave his role at a large financial services firm and join his long-term mentor and colleague Marc Istanboulie at Richardson Wealth. Through this partnership with Marc, clients will have increased accessibility to personalized wealth management strategies. The vast array of expertise within the Firm will help clients address many of their tax, estate, insurance, philanthropic and business succession needs.

In addition to a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, Muizz has his Registered Retirement Consultant designation (RRC) and Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP®). He was ranked third nationally for his CFP exam sitting, earning a coveted spot on the President’s List.

He devotes a lot of his time outside of the office to volunteering, offering his skillset surrounding finances and education to help support groups like the Aga Khan Council for Canada. Muizz also enjoys travelling throughout Canada and abroad with his family.

Claude’s measured approach to wealth management has made him a trusted advisor and rational voice for clients since starting in the industry in 1988. Witnessing multiple economic downturns and plenty of market volatility has shaped his core philosophy as an advisor – the notion that although we don’t know what will happen tomorrow, we can make the plans to protect ourselves today. 

Drawn to the idea of working with people, Claude spent the past three decades working for major financial institutions. He came to Richardson Wealth in 2021 and joined the Istanboulie team in 2023, with the goal of offering a broader, more independent suite of tools, resources and services to clients.

Claude enjoys spending time with his family and is an active supporter of his young adult son’s interest in the financial markets, being pleased shared his knowledge and values with him. You will often find Claude volunteering his time to coach his son’s hockey or baseball teams and strives to stay very involved in all aspects of raising a responsible adult. Claude enjoys food and wine and is constantly improving his skills as a cook.

Louma Haffar
Business Development Assistant

After obtaining her L.L.B. in Law from the Université de Montréal, Louma became a lawyer and member of the Quebec Bar in 2003.

For nearly ten years, Louma worked in Europe in the fields of financial and banking law. Returning to Montreal in 2010, Louma joined Québecor  as Director, Regulatory Affairs.

In 2023, Louma joined the team of her husband, Marc Istanboulie, as Business Development Assistant. Her goal is to contribute to the growth of the family business and put to good use the skills she has acquired throughout her career. Her duties will be devoted exclusively to the team's marketing and business development activities.

Louma enjoys running and scuba diving, traveling and is an avid reader. You’ll often find her on family outings with Marc and their two children.

Amélie Campeau-Lanctôt

As a member of the Tax & Estate Planning team at Richardson Wealth since 2014, Amélie provides her expertise and works closely with Advisors and their clients to identify and develop tax and estate planning strategies that address clients’ overall wealth planning needs.

Amélie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Sherbrooke and a Master’s degree in Taxation from HEC Montréal. She is also a registered lawyer in the Tableau de l’Ordre du Barreau du Québec. Prior to joining Richardson Wealth in 2014, she worked in Canadian taxation in the private companies department in large accounting firms.

Over the past few years, Amélie has developed extensive experience in tax and estate planning for entrepreneurs and incorporated professionals. Amélie has also developed expertise in estate planning, including the transfer of family businesses, as well as the review of wills and mandates. Not only does she have the technical knowledge of death taxes and trusts, but her services are also highly appreciated for the human side of settling an estate.

Amélie regularly speaks to groups of entrepreneurs and professionals for presentations on estate planning. She has also written several articles on the subject. In particular, she is a member of Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF) and has participated on several occasions in Première en affaires.
