Rahim Chatur was born for this industry. Early in life, he also discovered a passion for investing and finance. His profession as an advisor is a unique alignment of his roots and his innate understanding of the markets. This gives him the ultimate satisfaction of making more than a difference in the lives of his clients, he works diligently to ensure they live the full and meaningful life they envision. Simply said, being an advisor is his calling.

Serving the high net worth market for over 20 years, Rahim’s leadership with his clients is instrumental to their financial success and sense of well-being. He operates under firmly established philosophies: provide investors with innovative opportunities that incorporate solid financial principles. His strategy has evolved throughout years of market cycles, and career progression – previously leading Canada’s premier Private Equity desk and finally his destination as an investment advisor since 2004. He has crafted and fine-tuned his value-based playbook to be one of conviction and resilience. Rahim’s overarching belief is to serve clients the way he would want to be served. This brings him a deep sense of empathy and strengthens his client connections making him more than a financial advisor, but rather a life advisor.

Making the world a better place extends beyond his clients to his community. Philanthropy is a virtue Rahim learned during his upbringing and a legacy he has carefully nurtured for the next generation. For years, his family has been the top sponsor and participant in the Million Reasons Run supporting Children’s hospitals. Rahim also served on the board of a local charity where he contributed his time to families in need of stable housing.

Rahim earned his Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and has earned his Derivatives Markets Specialist (DMS) designation. For fun, and to keep a clear mind, Rahim plays tennis, skis, bikes and runs. Above all, spending time with his wife and two energetic children is his true love.
