René started his career in financial services in 1994 at Burns Fry which became Nesbitt Burns. René rapidly built a clientele composed of successful business people and professionals. In 2005, René and his team joined Richardson Financial Partners, known today as Richardson Wealth Limited.

René has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Université du Québec, Rimouski and obtained the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designation in 1994 and the portfolio manager designation in 2002.

 

Besides his work, his passion is to practice sports with his sons and close friends. Activities includes general fitness, mountain and road biking, hiking, downhill skiing and off road motorcycling, and swimming.

Louis graduated from HEC Montréal with a Masters in Financial Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in applied economics, finance and mathematics. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Before joining Richardson Wealth, Louis amassed 2 years of experience in derivatives collateral management, credit risk modeling and liability-driven investments at major Canadian financial institutions.

In his spare time, Louis enjoys road cycling, outdoor activities and he is an accomplished pianist.

Lina is the first point of contact for all inquiries related to the administration of client accounts. She holds a Certificate in Administration from Concordia University, and had more than 21 years of experience in the securities sector.

Amélie Campeau-Lanctôt

As a member of the Tax & Estate Planning team at Richardson Wealth since 2014, Amélie provides her expertise and works closely with Advisors and their clients to identify and develop tax and estate planning strategies that address clients’ overall wealth planning needs.

Amélie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Sherbrooke and a Master’s degree in Taxation from HEC Montréal. She is also a registered lawyer in the Tableau de l’Ordre du Barreau du Québec. Prior to joining Richardson Wealth in 2014, she worked in Canadian taxation in the private companies department in large accounting firms.

Over the past few years, Amélie has developed extensive experience in tax and estate planning for entrepreneurs and incorporated professionals. Amélie has also developed expertise in estate planning, including the transfer of family businesses, as well as the review of wills and mandates. Not only does she have the technical knowledge of death taxes and trusts, but her services are also highly appreciated for the human side of settling an estate.

Amélie regularly speaks to groups of entrepreneurs and professionals for presentations on estate planning. She has also written several articles on the subject. In particular, she is a member of Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF) and has participated on several occasions in Première en affaires.

Located in our Montreal office, Marie-Luisa works with Investment Advisor teams and our in-house Tax & Estate Planning team of professionals to serve the needs of clients in Quebec and across Canada.

With nearly 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, Marie-Luisa provides an analytical and focused approach to financial planning that allows her to create comprehensive wealth plans for clients.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from HEC Montréal, and a Certificate in financial planning from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She later pursued a degree in Financial Planning and obtained her certification from the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF). Her next endeavor is the Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation provided by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) to further add value to her relationships with Advisors and their clients.
