Mark is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and a graduate of Bishop’s University with a degree in Economics and Finance. Mark is responsible for overall portfolio and investment strategy including asset allocation, security selection and tax efficiency. He brings a disciplined, analytical, and innovative approach to building client portfolios. He focuses on a balance of performance and capital preservation tailored to each individual client’s short, medium, and long-range objectives, which are first articulated through our Wealth Planning process. With over 30 years of investment industry experience, Mark has an in-depth understanding of the dynamic economic and investment landscape as well as a keen ability to be proactive while recognizing opportunities for our clients. Mark has both his Derivative and Options licenses, and has successfully completed the Partners, Directors, and Senior Officers course (PDO). As a licensed Branch Manager Mark previously managed the Richardson GMP Toronto office. Mark was elected by his fellow partners to the Richardson Wealth Board of Directors (previously known as Richardson GMP) from 2010 – 2017. He holds ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Mark was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He was an avid rugby player for several decades and is a lifelong sailor. He and his wife Gail, have three young children and spend their free time cycling, skiing, and playing enthusiastically competitive board games together. They also enjoy experiencing new cultures on family vacations.
