Comedy for a Cause 2.0

Richardson Wealth was once again the lead sponsor for Comedy for a Cause 2.0, in support of the Kidney Foundation. Bringing the event back after 10 years, we were thrilled to have over 500 guests and volunteers join us for the evening. Everyone came together, dressed to impress in ‘Vegas nightlife’ attire and enjoyed laughs and conversations, all for a great cause.

The evening included two fabulous bands, The Haven and Side One, which kept everyone on the dance floor for hours. The event was headlined by comedian and host of Family Feud Canada, Gerry Dee. Gerry headlined the last event in 2014 and was happy to join us again with an interactive crowd. He had the audience laughing and kept everyone’s spirits high.

We also had a very special guest, Danielle Dececco, share her incredible journey with kidney disease. Her extraordinary story and bravery are a great reminder of the struggles that those affected by kidney disease face every day. We are proud to support Danielle and others in their fight.

The evening was an enormous success with over $135,000 (net) raised for the Kidney Foundation. A huge thank you to our sponsors and all who came out to support this event. All proceeds from the event will go directly to research that fights all kidney diseases. As well, the event could not have happened without the support of the Richardson Wealth Partners who really stepped up.
