Graham is committed to providing personalized financial strategies and finds enjoyment in cultivating long-term client relationships. He believes that clients benefit most when financial planning and portfolio management are integral components of their wealth advisory team.
Following a career as an officer in the Royal Canadian Navy, Graham joined the financial industry in 1998. In 2013, he partnered with Neil Chappell to create Blue Heron Advisory Group, with a goal to provide clients with a more comprehensive level of financial service.
Having earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta, Graham is also a graduate in the Joint Reserve Command and Staff Course from the Canadian Forces College. Graham holds the Canadian Investment Management (CIM) designation, has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
Graham and his wife Diana are avid travellers and long-distance walkers, embarking on the Northern route of the famed Camino de Santiago in 2016. The names of their two Bernadoodles are inspired by their love of travel – “Norte’ after the Camino de Santiago and ‘Lugo’ after a favourite city in North West Spain.
