Greg graduated with honours from the Sauder School of Business Commerce program at the University of British Columbia (UBC). With almost two decades of experience in wealth management, and licensed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, he holds both the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation, which allows him to provide discretionary money management services to affluent families and institutional clients, and the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation. Greg is also a licensed insurance advisor, broadening his level of knowledge of wealth management strategies well beyond the scope of basic financial planning. Greg is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), considered the highest honour in Canadian financial services.

Greg is responsible for the construction, monitoring and maintenance of portfolios for clients. This includes the analysis, due diligence, selection and monitoring of securities and third-party managers, including equities and fixed income, private equity, investment funds and alternative strategy funds.

Extending beyond just investments, Greg understands the importance of holistic wealth management which encompasses planning for today and whatever the future may have in store. Greg works closely with clients’ professional advisors and our in-house tax & estate planning professionals to develop customized plans to address any estate, tax, philanthropy, insurance, business succession and intergeneration wealth planning clients may require. He is also experienced in divorce-specific financial analysis and support, helping clients navigate the divorce process to confidently move forward with their lives.

He resides in North Vancouver with his wife, Rebecca, their daughters, Fiona and Sonya, and their black lab Aengus. He enjoys playing hockey, mountain biking, and golfing throughout the year and holds a Black Belt in Shaolin Kung Fu.

Greg and his team are also dedicated to giving back, donating annually to various charities and local food banks in Canadian cities where their clients live.

Robert graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a Bachelor of Science and started his career with McLeod Young Weir in 1978, which was acquired by the Bank of Nova Scotia in 1988. He remained with Scotia McLeod until 2005 when he joined GMP Private Client L.P., now Richardson Wealth Limited. Robert is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Professional AIFP.

As an AIFP designee Robert works with Investment Fiduciaries to implement proper policies and procedures to help fiduciaries manage their duties and obligations. Robert employs uniform, industry-recognized processes for developing personalized investment strategies based solely on an investor's specific investment needs, to apply objective, comprehensive standards for evaluating and recommending investment options, perform ongoing due diligence, monitor and report portfolio performance and to conduct ongoing reviews of our business practices to ensure fiduciary principles are being properly applied.

Richardson Wealth (USA) Limited is an RIA (Registered Investment Adviser) and Robert serves US citizens and residents as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR).

Our team provides discretionary investment management including portfolio construction, due diligence and wealth and estate tax planning to high-net-worth families and business owners in Canada. Clients include professionals, senior executives, former executives, founders of public and private companies and family offices with intergenerational wealth.

Robert is also active in Canadian capital markets through financing of public and private companies, private equity, funds and alternative investments.

Lori Wright began her career in the financial services industry in Corporate Finance before taking time away to raise her daughters in Montreal and Maui. She returned to Vancouver in 1996, holding prominent roles at CIBC Wood Gundy and Richardson GMP. In 2005, Lori and Robert were among the first to join GMP Private Client when its Vancouver office opened. With over 25 years of experience as a Branch Administrator and Associate Advisor, Lori has developed deep industry knowledge and is recognized as a mentor to many within the Canadian investment community.

Lori is thankful to be part of Richardson Wealth as part of Team Phillips Byler, Lori is committed to delivering exceptional client service and precision. She values building strong client relationships and takes pride in understanding each client’s unique goals and needs. Licensed as an Associate, Lori ensures a thoughtful and personalized approach to her work.

Outside of the office, Lori enjoys life in Steveston with her husband Bernie and their Dog Reese. She spends her free time with family and is passionate about cycling.

Graydon graduated with a Bachelor of Management & Organizational Studies in Finance & Consumer Behaviour from Western University. Before joining Richardson Wealth, he worked as a quantitative analysis assistant at a boutique investment firm in Toronto. He has since completed the required Canadian Securities Institute programs to be a licensed, Investment Representative.

Graydon oversees much of the day-to-day administrative tasks from opening and updating accounts, cash transfers, to documentation required for many of the unique investments clients participate in throughout the year. As an Investment Representative he also assists with clients’ equity, fixed income and investment fund trading.

In addition to a background in finance, Graydon has experience in the field operations of a number of early-stage resource companies; ranging from ground floor roles (soil sampler, core cutter, drill helper) to higher-level roles in investor relations and capital markets. He also has experience as a distinguished, licensed fishing guide, managing and supervising fishing trips and operations. When not on the water, Graydon can be caught cheering on the Buffalo Bills or playing golf.

Karen holds an undergraduate degree from UBC, a diploma from Langara College, and brings close to 18 years of experience in the banking and financial industry. Licensed as an Investment Representative, Karen has developed a strong expertise in supporting clients in their financial journeys. She is skilled at account documentation, maintaining positive relationships with clients, and supporting the advisory team. Known for her detailed-oriented approach, she is dedicated to providing the utmost care and service to the needs of every individual.

Outside of her professional life, Karen enjoys jogging, watching TV and spending time with family. Karen lives in Vancouver with her husband Wayne, two children Alexandria and Oliver, and their dog Cooper.

Located in the Vancouver office of Richardson Wealth, Chris rounds out the Tax & Estate Planning team’s coast-to-coast support of Richardson Wealth’s Investment Advisors and their clients. Drawing upon the collective knowledge and experience of the Tax & Estate Planning team, he works closely with Investment Advisors to deliver comprehensive wealth planning services covering tax, financial, estate, insurance and investment planning needs to their clients.

With his engineering and corporate planning experience coupled with over two decades in the financial services sector, Chris brings his passion to the table in delivering comprehensive wealth planning solutions. Relishing the challenges brought forth by ever-changing tax and regulatory environments, he creates comprehensive, understandable, and practical solutions for our clients’ diverse financial needs.

Chris is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and the Canadian Investment Funds Course (IFIC). Chris has also completed certification (with honours) in the area of personal tax review and preparation.

Eleena Swan is an estate and insurance advisor who works closely with investment advisors to deliver comprehensive insurance planning services to their clients.

She has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and has developed an extensive knowledge of life and health insurance as well as complex insurance strategies. Eleena employs a dedicated, compassionate, holistic planning-based approach to assist clients with preserving their wealth so they can enjoy what they have worked so hard to build. Her dedication and compassionate approach ensures that plans are custom tailored to each client’s unique set of circumstances and delivered with a high level of care.

Eleena holds her Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and Elder Planning Counsellor designations and is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). Her passion for the industry has led her to volunteer her time and help others. She currently volunteers with the Advocis Programs Committee, and is a past vice-president of the Board of Directors at the Houston Chamber of Commerce as well as an MDRT Foundation Canada Board Member, which is the philanthropic arm of MDRT. Eleena also maintains memberships with the Financial Advisors Association of Canada (Advocis) and the Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC).

Gorav Seth

Gorav has worked for over 16 years in corporate finance and investment banking at leading independent investment dealers in Canada.  His areas of expertise include Canadian capital markets, corporate finance, accounting, and M&A. 

Gorav currently serves as the Head of Capital Markets for Richardson Wealth, the largest independent wealth manager in Canada and sits on the investment committee for the firm. He is responsible for of all new issues for the firm, including public and private offerings, real estate, structured products, and structured notes.  Gorav is also involved in generating new investment ideas while filtering issuers and identifying risks/opportunities for the firm’s $36b network of HNW retail investors and private family office clients. 

Prior to his role at Richardson, Gorav spent several years in investment banking at GMP Securities (now Stifel GMP) working in diversified industries and special situations. During his career, Gorav has successfully advised clients on transactions ranging from M&A and restructuring to IPOs, RTOs, and underwriting. Gorav has completed over $6 billion of lead transactions during his tenure in the capital markets and has worked alongside family office to deploy capital into many late-stage venture companies across a variety of sectors including blockchain technology, entertainment/media, cannabis, and brown field mining exploration.

Romain Marguet

Mr. Marguet joined Richardson Wealth in January 2016 and is responsible for the oversight of the alternative asset platform for the firm, as well as origination of new alternative products. A role that sees him working in various capacities with asset managers in the hedge fund, private equity, private debt and venture capital asset classes. Mr. Marguet started his career in the financial services industry in 2000 with BMO Nesbitt Burns. He has held increasingly senior positions in Canada and internationally. Prior to joining Richardson Wealth Limited, he worked for a long-standing hedge fund manager and a boutique private equity firm in Toronto and overseas. Prior to working abroad, Mr. Marguet held the position of Vice President with Raymond James, a Fortune 500 company that had recently established its presence in Canada. Mr. Marguet received an Hon. B.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto in 2003. He is currently active on various industry boards and committees and fluent in both French and English.
