Jim has over 20 years of experience in wealth management. His area of expertise and focus is in portfolio construction and manager research. He is able to communicate with accountants, lawyers and insurance specialists for the purposes of tailoring personal, corporate and estate tax planning. Jim earned a CA designation (Chartered Accountant) in 2001. His accounting and financial background helps with identifying solutions to reduce taxes, enhance and preserve wealth, and transfer assets tax-efficiently to the next generation.
Jim is a graduate of Queen’s University (B.Comm), University of Waterloo (M.Acc) and holds a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. Jim is a member and former captain of the Granite Club Masters Swim Team. Jim is father of two amazing children, Alexander and Evelynn.
