As a Wealth Advisor at Richardson Wealth, Gareth Watson strives to help clients meet their financial goals by providing a broad array of services including Investment Management, Tax & Estate Planning, and Insurance. He also helps business owners and professionals with personal and business planning needs.
Gareth began his career in the institutional equity research department with one of Canada’s largest banks from 2001 to 2005. He then transitioned to a full service brokerage advisory role where his responsibilities included developing investment strategies, presenting investment portfolio solutions, and assisting investment professionals across the country with their business development initiatives. In 2011 Gareth joined Richardson Wealth as Director of the firm’s Investment Management Group, providing investment advice to his fellow partners and acting as a corporate spokesperson with print, radio, and television (BNN, CBC) media. As a graduate with high distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Gareth received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He is a member of the Toronto CFA Society as well as a CFA Charterholder.
