Spotlight: “Tune Out the Noise”
We wanted to highlight a documentary that is now available on YouTube. It heavily features Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA), a key part of our investment strategy. The documentary—by Academy Award-winning director Errol Morris—chronicles the evolution of evidence-based investing and the data that supports it. The Wall Street Journal called it “a nerdy and genuinely engrossing documentary about investment strategy.”
We think you’ll enjoy it.

Investing at All-Time Highs
Markets have continued to hit all-time highs, and we've received questions about whether a correction may be near. While no one can reliably predict market corrections, we can turn to data for perspective.
Sustained market corrections are rare following all-time highs. The evidence shows that periods following all-time highs have historically been followed by returns similar to those of average market periods—and notably higher returns during the 3-year and 5-year periods following all-time highs.
This may seem counterintuitive at first, but new market highs are a regular part of market cycles, not a sign of impending doom. They signal corporate strength, and despite challenges in the world and its economy, corporate earnings remain robust. Over the long run, time in the market is far more impactful than timing your investments.
