Tips for updating your blog

  • Update your blog consistently. Don't let it go dormant
    • Once per week, once per month, once per quarter
  • Add your unique view on current events, market trends, or strategies that can help your clients
  • Avoid controversial topics (i.e. religion, political views, etc.)
    • Don't assume your professional audience agrees with your personal view on such matters. Including these topics in a blog post may cost you clients or prospects
  • Share your blog posts on your social media (LinkedIn or Twitter) in order to increase activity on those channels and drive users to your website
