Sean works with successful families, individuals and institutions to help them make sound strategic choices with the wealth they’ve accumulated. He recognizes the life decisions that those resources ultimately support and has worked closely with his clients since 2002 to provide personalized wealth strategies and portfolio management. For corporate clients, Sean also provides pension consulting services.
Sean is a Portfolio Manager in the Halifax, Nova Scotia and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island offices of Richardson Wealth. He is a CFA Charterholder, and holds a Bachelor of Science from Mount Allison University and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University. Sean has also earned the CIM designation and has completed various industry courses. While at Mount Allison University, Sean was a two-time all-conference quarterback on the university’s football team. Upon graduating from Dalhousie, Sean worked in Engineering before discovering his passion for wealth management.
Outside the office, Sean and his family live an active lifestyle. Along with his wife Janice and three children, Grace, Ella, and Levi, you’ll often find Sean out on the ocean or helping to coach his kids’ various sports teams. Sean enjoys staying active by hitting the gym, trail biking and playing tennis, poorly! He tries to keep up with younger (and much more athletic) players during touch football season each fall, so you’ll often find Sean recovering from a sports-related injury. Sean is on the board of Tennis PEI and Colonel Grey Education Foundation.
