Neil Bosch began his journey in the investment industry over 30 years ago and is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®). After completing his Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree from the University of Alberta, he then obtained his Masters in Arts (Economics) from the University of Dundee in Scotland.
Currently, Neil is a Senior Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager with Bosch Investment Group having moved from CIBC Wood Gundy to join Richardson Wealth’s predecessor firm, Richardson Partners Financial Limited, in 2005. He has been with Richardson Wealth (formerly Richardson GMP) since its creation in 2009. He is currently the Branch Manager of the Calgary Office and more recently was appointed Regional Head of Advisor Experience and Growth, Western Canada. Neil was elected to the Board of Directors of Richardson Wealth (formerly Richardson GMP) by his partners in May of 2017 and proudly served through to November 2020.
The client experience is Neil’s main priority. His genuine interest in the well-being of our clients. As one of the first accredited Portfolio Managers in Alberta, Neil has a strong background in researching, developing, and managing both corporate and individual clients’ unique asset allocations. His expertise in Portfolio Management is the cornerstone of our business.
Neil is a recipient of the Lois Hole Memorial Literacy Award for his work in raising funds for the Centre for Family Literacy and in 2019 co-founded “SNAP” - an evening of fashion and song that raises money for Dress For Success, Calgary. Neil is an avid mountaineer, a past President of the Alpine Club of Canada (ACC) and a member of the College of Fellows of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society. In 2024 Neil was awarded the A. O. Wheeler for exceptional contribution to the ACC. This makes him one of only 5 recipients over the last 118 years of the Club’s history to receive this honour.
Neil’s other passions are music, climbing, fly fishing and family. He is a proud husband and father to two boys and an avid supporter of the Alberta music and arts scene. During his down time, no matter the season, you are likely to find Neil and his family outside enjoying what nature has to offer.
