We join people around the globe to celebrate the advancement of women in our countries, communities, and homes. Leaders, colleagues, mentors, friends, neighbours, wives, daughters, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts, and nieces everywhere are being recognized for the important role they have played in paving the way for a gender diverse world. They are also being celebrated for the positive impact and influence they have had — whether it be on one person, or thousands.

We have openly and repeatedly stated what we expect to achieve: greater gender representation in the advisor population, more women in executive and senior positions, more women in all roles universally and more women clients. And our boots are on the ground. A strategic agenda is formulated along with quantifiable objectives. We have engaged a group of leaders who share a passion for this work to bring our vision to reality. And we have committed resources of time and money to proudly partner with Women’s Executive Network (WXN) by sponsoring their Woman of Courage Award, a celebration of extraordinary women who face challenges head-on with bravery, compassion, and determination.
International Women’s Day is a day of celebration, a time to pause, reflect and acknowledge. Think about the women who have touched your life. Think about all those who have helped you to become a better, more successful you. Together let’s #BreaktheBias, this year’s theme for this important day.
As we celebrate women in March, it’s impossible to overlook the brave women of Ukraine who are fleeing the country to keep their families safe, many of whom are leaving loved ones behind. As a firm, we continue with our annual Partners in Community Gifting Program and this year we are supporting the people of Ukraine by matching the donations of our employees and advisors to provide aid through the Canadian Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal.
