I have been in the investment industry since 2000, and have survived two nasty bear markets – more importantly, so have my clients. I graduated from the University of British Columbia in Economics and Psychology in 1996. I have completed the Professional Financial Planning (PFP) course and the Portfolio Manager's designation.
Community involvement is a high priority for me. I am the former Chairman of the BC/Yukon Chapter of the Children’s Wish Foundation, and also sat on their Finance Committee, helping to create and implement their Investment Policy Statement that directs funds in excess of $10 million. I also sat on their Executive Committee, contributing strategic and operational leadership to the organization. As a volunteer with Junior Achievement, I have worked for many years to foster the ideals of entrepreneurship in Canadian young people.
