Meeting with you

First meeting. We get to know each other well before we make a commitment to work together. Our first meeting is informal with no obligations on either side. It’s an opportunity to learn about your current situation: marital status, number of children, home ownership, existing investments, investment experience, etc. We tell you about who we are and what we can do to help you achieve your financial objectives and follow up in a week.

Second meeting. After deciding to work together, our second meeting addresses any additional questions you may have, and reviews the investment process for your portfolio. We take care of all required paperwork to open your accounts and set up the transfer of existing assets. Banking is put into place so we can send you money electronically. We also set you up to view your accounts online using our 24/7 online account viewing platform.

Accessibility. We are in the office early in the morning, usually through lunch, until the late afternoon. We answer our own telephones, and communicate with you directly. When you need to know something about personal finance, we want to be your first call. If we don’t know the answer, we will find it out for you and get back to you promptly. If your accountant needs information, have them contact us directly. We will ensure that they get the right answer and that your best interest is looked after.

Monitor and review. We monitor and review your portfolio on a regular basis. It usually leads to keeping the status quo, but we will contact you if a change is required or to update you on important news. We stress a two-way relationship: get in touch with us if you have questions or concerns. Clients who are most involved in their relationship are also the most satisfied with our services.
