A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, I bring over twenty five years of experience in the financial services industry and 20 years as a professional Investment Advisor. I joined the predecessor firm to Macquarie Private Wealth in 2005 as Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor after spending 12 years at BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and its predecessor firm Burns Fry Limited. Jamie is the Director of Capital Markets and Investment Products at Richardson Wealth. In this capacity, Jamie helps advisors and clients build portfolios and navigate a crowded universe of investment products. In addition, Jamie contributes the writing of our market commentaries, including the daily Launch Pad, to keep our advisors and clients well informed. Jamie graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours BA in Economics and Geography in 1997 and started in fixed income the same year working on the Bond Desk at First Marathon Securities, which was later acquired by National Bank Financial. Jamie joined First Associates in 2003, which evolved into Blackmont Capital and then Macquarie Private Wealth. He was appointed Vice President, Fixed Income, in 2005 and became a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder in 2006. A year later, he was appointed Director of Fixed Income. Jamie’s experience in the bond world makes him well positioned to contribute to the macro strategy of the asset management team. Jamie Price, as a portfolio manager, is the lead manager of the Connected Wealth bond strategies.

Craig Basinger is the Chief Market Strategist at Purpose Investments. With over 25 years of investment experience, Craig combines an educational foundation in economics & psychology with years of experience in both fundamental and quantitative research. A long term student of the markets, Craig’s thoughts and insights can be seen in Market Ethos publications and is a regular contributor on BNN.
Craig and his team bring a transparent and cost efficient approach to investment management. The team provides asset allocation OCIO services and directly manages over $1 billion in assets. The team manages dividend mandates, quantitative risk reduction strategies and asset allocation services.

Maureen works with Investment Advisory Teams and their affluent clients to navigate the entire wealth planning process; from initial discovery with the client, through to the final presentation. She is a dynamic speaker who can translate complex wealth planning concepts into efficient and effective action plans for clients. This holistic approach combined with her financial planning expertise offers a unique and practical perspective to retirement, trust, and estate planning.
Maureen joined the firm in 2006 and moved to the Tax & Estate Planning team in early 2010. The previous 20 years of her career were focused in the Life and Health Insurance Industry where she gained significant experience as a Financial Services Advisor, Mutual Fund Salesperson and as a product, sales, software and compliance trainer.
Maureen is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and the Canadian Investment Funds Course (IFIC). She also holds the designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and other insurance designations from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA).

Sylvia works closely with Investment Advisors and their clients to explore and identify issues that address clients’ overall wealth planning needs. She helps clients formulate objectives, understand issues and strategies and facilitates implementation of their goals. Sylvia understands the sensitive issues relating to family dynamics and wealth transfer.
Sylvia is an estate planning lawyer with many years of experience. Prior to joining Richardson Wealth, she was a principal in her own strategic wealth planning firm and also spent many years in the financial industry dealing with wealth planning solutions for high net worth clients.
Sylvia has been an instructor at Humber College School of Business and at the Bar Admission course at the Law Society of Upper Canada. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Estate Planning Council of Toronto. She is a seasoned presenter on topics of importance to high net worth families.
Senior Tax Specialist, Tax & Estate Planning
Sean collaborates with Investment Advisors and their clients to develop tax and financial planning strategies and to deliver integrated solutions addressing their unique needs.
Sean is an accountant with experience in Canadian and U.S. tax planning for high net worth individuals, with a focus on integrated cross-border wealth, estate, and trust matters. Before joining Richardson Wealth, Sean was at a multi-national accounting firm practicing in the private client group. He has authored and contributed to several articles for BorderCrossings, a Thomson Reuters publication with insightful commentary on cross-border issues faced by Canadians and U.S. citizens.
Sean is also a facilitator in the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program. He is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and holds a Master of Taxation from the University of Waterloo.

Based in the Toronto office, Brett works with Investment Advisors to counsel high net worth families, executives and entrepreneurs on Wealth Planning solutions; helping to articulate their wealth aspirations at any stage. He provides support to his Richardson Wealth colleagues as part of our integrated wealth planning team.
Drawing on extensive financial services expertise and a passion for planning, Brett helps clients express and understand their unique objectives for the wealth they have accumulated. Employing a consistent, conservative value-add approach, Brett takes the time to truly understand what goals our clients want to achieve and creates an innovative and tailored solution for every client and their family.
Brett has 20 years’ experience as Financial Planner and has worked at several major investment management firms. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Brett was in the Canadian military, retiring in 2000, after a rewarding and successful career of 20 years serving in Canada and abroad.
Brett is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and is a member of the Society of Tax and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He also holds the designation of Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and has completed the Canadian Securities Course CSC), the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) and the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP).

He brings depth of experience and technical expertise in answering financial planning questions and developing strategies. Pinal establishes comprehensive personalized wealth plans detailing client priorities which clarify their long-term objectives and provide peace of mind as clients plan the transfer of their wealth to the next generation.
Pinal has many years of experience in the financial services industry in various capacities. Throughout his tenure in his previous roles, Pinal has provided financial advice to affluent Canadians. Pinal has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University and is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner. He has also completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Wealth Management Essentials (WME), and Professional Financial Planning Certification (PFPC).
Head of Trading – Director - Fixed Income & Securities Lending, RF Securities
Joey is a Head of Trading – Director - Fixed Income & Securities Lending, RF Securities. In his role, Joey supports the fixed income business of Richardson Wealth by providing advisory and trading services in fixed income securities and preferred shares that create value added ideas. He works closely with Investment Advisors, discussing market strategy and recommending fixed income solutions. Joey develops and maintains relationships with third party dealers for RF Securities in order to improve trade execution and gain access to a broad suite of products for Richardson Wealth.
Prior to joining RF Securities (formerly GMP Securities L.P.), Joey was with a Canadian bank-owned dealer, where he headed up the retail fixed income trading desk, and was responsible for managing the working relationship between the Capital Markets and Wealth Management Divisions. Prior to this role, he held several progressive positions including roles as a credit research analyst and as trader in London, England, covering the dollar bloc Eurobond market and backing up dollar bloc government market making activity. Joey has been in the industry for over 14 years.
Joey holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, and received the CFA designation in 2000. His professional affiliations include membership in the CFA Institute and the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts. Joey has completed the Canadian Securities Course (1994), the Conduct & Practices Exam (1995, 2007), the Options Licensing Course (1999), the Futures Licensing Course (2000), and the Partners, Directors and Officers Exam (2007). Joey is a Registered Representative under the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada.

Jason has a well-rounded knowledge of the Insurance industry having worked at all levels of the business. He has worked at the manufacturer level, at the distributor level and, most importantly, as an Independent Insurance Broker and business owner.
Jason’s financial and accounting backgrounds allow him to take a comprehensive approach to advanced Estate and Insurance planning for clients. His ‘educate first’ approach resonates well with clients, who feel that his solution-based recommendations are tailored to their individual needs.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors in Accounting and Corporate Finance in 1999 from the University of New Brunswick. He began working on his CA with Deloitte and Touche in 2001 after taking a sabbatical to train and try out for the Canadian Olympic Swim Team. Upon returning to the work force Jason completed the CSC and earned his CFP designation in 2003.
